Through the Florida Humanities “Florida Talks” program, storyteller and Chautauqua Scholar, Carrie Sue Ayvar, captivated the audience with inspiring and insightful tales of remarkable women from Florida’s rich heritage. Following the presentation, guests enjoyed refreshments, connected with the speaker, and shared reflections on the stories. Many also contributed their own family histories, adding personal depth to the conversation.
