“More than Orange Blossoms: Feisty, Fabulous Females of Florida”

March 21, 2026

It was “Hats Off to Florida Women and their History“ on March 21st as the Florida Remembered Society celebrated Women’s History Month and welcomed visitors to “More than Orange Blossoms: Feisty, Fabulous Females of Florida.”

The invigorating and inspiring program was presented by Carrie Sue Ayvar, a Florida Humanities, “Florida Talks” speaker. Carrie’s program featured more than a dozen local and state women whose strength, wisdom, and preservation have impacted our history and humanities.

Visitors also explored the Red, White & FOOD exhibition and enjoyed refreshments.

Call 772 267-4873 to book a tour of this exhibition at the St. Lucie School, 2501 Old Dixie Hwy in historic St. Lucie Village.

Florida Remembered Society thanks everyone who attended!
